    1st Gen rear seat belts

Sure, I would like to see what you have done. Thanks man.

    1st Gen rear seat belts

I did see plastic inserts where the shoulder mount for the seat belts would go. I have another 1981 gas crew cab that I have not transplanted a Cummins into yet that has 2nd or 3rd gen rear seat in. I think I am going to take that out and use it till I find the seat I want. I have buckets and...

    1st Gen rear seat belts

That is what I was thinking, finding a 2nd gen rear seat out of their quad cab. I just got it out of storage for the year.

    1st Gen rear seat belts

Thanks, I have to get a better look at the mounting points for the rear seat area. I really want 3 point on each side and lap in the middle is okay.

    1st Gen rear seat belts

What has anyone used for seat belts in the rear of a 1981 crew cab (a true 4 door crew cab with bench seat). I was thinking some of the retractable 3 points for the ends and a lap belt for the center like LMC sells. I just don't want to buy some and they not work. thanks

    Predator

I have heard of talk of issues involving pressure, but that the puck really raises the pressure. If I need injectors I will put them in. The truck really responded great to the predator and just keeps running better as the ECM becomes familiar with it. I notice fuel mileage must have increased...

    Predator

I know right, but I really think take care of maintenance, highway miles; break that engine in and give me some over the road mpg. It just runs so good!!! The predator kicks butt on this 03; really solid...

    Predator

When I saw this 03 with no rust and so clean looking I just couldn't resist. The truck does really well for fuel mileage. If I am cruising at 70 it's over 23 mpg. The truck has 300k on it, but no leaks or maladies I can find. It is broken in for sure and I have heard the 03 and 04 are the most...

    Rear seat

What is the best replacement for a rear seat. The truck has Denali bucket seats in the front. I would like to use an updated rear seat from maybe a 2nd gen Ram.

    Predator

I'm trying promisedlandorganicfarmer. There isn't much done to the 03, just straight through 3.5" exhaust, CAI, predator and gauges. promisedlandorganicfarmer you got a nice truck there and some nice mods. I am thinking a larger turbo would be nice, but I think the transmission would need work first...

    Predator

No promisedlandorganicfarmer I like my Cummins addiction lol!

    Predator

The only hills were in southern Missouri, pretty flat from St. Louis through Illinois to Wisconsin. I was pulling a 20 foot deck over with a 1981 Cummins converted four door truck. Thinking total weight was around 13k. It would barely hit 800 degrees under hard acceleration and then fall below...

I sure wish I could build a Lavon Miller fun truck! I will at some point; I have the disease!!!

    Predator

I just remember it accelerating and shifting through each gear. I just didn't think it would drop unlock the converter once it locked. I would think that would keep it from getting so hot until it obviously shredded the converter. I know slippage builds heat and I know all that extra power is...

    Predator

I picked up a Diablo Predator and downloaded the performance and then extreme download. I notice it the torque converter doesn't stay locked up when floored. I figured, but wow it really moves. I'm guessing full billet transmission is next.
