Well, thanks for the many comments, all of which are very good. But I need to fill you in on the particulars. I have a side mounted fuel tank from a semi tractor that has a gauge mounting bung and several top mounted ports to suck fuel from, just like when it was mounted on the truck. I'm not...
It's probably been covered before, but here's my question. I want to install an aux fuel tank in the bed and wire a pump from it to the fuel tank. The truck previously had a tank as the owner left the holes in the bed and the "T" connector in the fill hose that a 3/8 hose can be connected to...
I have a 2015 3500 CC 2WD 6 Spd, and this code just showed up. The scanner says it’s “Redundant Pressure Too High “. What does it relate to? The truck has about 215,000 on it.
I have a 2015 3500 2wd CC long box G56 with 215,000 miles. It is stock except for the South Bend dual clutch I had put in last Spring, the old clutch becoming noisy and was deemed worn out. My question is, could an Aisin be installed in place of the G56? I noticed one being offered and...
Thanks for the input. I told shop that I would let know on Monday my decision. After I get the truck back, I'll put Fast coolers on the transmission which means refilling the G56. Any suggestions from the pro's as to what works best?
I have a 2015 3500 crew cab 2WD, G56 manual, with 214,000+ miles that I bought a year ago. It pulls my 16,000# fifth wheel camper well, and a 24' gooseneck flatbed that I haul tractors and machinery with. I noticed the throw out bearing was noisy on a return trip from Kansas driving solo. I...
So freezing temps of -20 degrees for up to 3 weeks sustained won't cause any problems to or in the tank if I leave it alone and top it off next Spring? It does get cold like that some years here in Northeast Nebraska.
I just bought a 2015 3500 6speed and really like it. But my question is - I don't use my truck much in the winter (November - March) and the DEF tank is down to about 1/3. I realize the DEF ages and needs to be kept fresh. Should I wait until Spring and empty the tank, then flush and refill...
The way I read it, the Stage V engines are all off-highway when they are being touted as "machine capable". The entire write-up is geared toward off-highway by off- hhighway personnel.
I have also seen the recall box go bad and not want to reset in which case the recall box needs to be replaced. If the frig doesn't have a recall box, that could also cause problems with operation. I have access to factory trouble shooting manuals and will try to check further.
You will find that a Norcold will warn you if the door is left open too long when filling or emptying. It will beep and after 2 minutes will shut down and not work at all making if necessary for a technician to reset the control board. It will not work on LP or 110v. In this case the control...
