Great explanation!! Would it be best to let it warm up before driving? Meaning, does it cause any additional stress on the fan clutch with it spinning so fast?

Speaking of the water pump recall.....I had mine replaced under the recall and coincidentally enough my heat didn't seem to work as it did before. The cooling system was never opened up until the recall. The dealer did a complete system drain and flush but that didn't help. Two years later...

I received that in the mail yesterday as well!! Fortunately for me, mine has not failed after 120k miles.

I have found the factory step bars do the trick just fine.
