A few of mine are faded as well and I've always wondered if there was a way to restore them to look like new. I've seen a few trucks with trim that looks immaculate and they had to have done something to get it to look like that.

Your best bet is to find someone parting out a truck with the trim you need.

That is exactly what you need to do. As soon as you settle on something, the next week the exact truck you want will be for sale for a cheaper price than what you settled for. That's how it happen with me, at least. :D

I've been following this build for a while (and on multiple forums it seems) and I have to say your truck is absolutely gorgeous. You do some amazing work and I can't wait to see the thing finished.

So you finally got one. Mine came in the mail today. I think $110 shipped is a pretty good deal, an Isspro tach cost more than that so... Once I figure out how to wire it up, I'll need to know the answer to the same question.

You might be getting air in somewhere. It would have to be a pretty big leak to get air in that fast though.

I'd take the purple one, with the wheels from the orange one. I guess I could put up with a convertable, if it was a 5spd.

Lose the huge wheels, and make them hardtops, and I'd drive 'em. I hate convertibles.
