Can anyone tell me if the info I got from the Dealer is right or wrong? I was told that from 2003 thru to date if you have a 2500 Ram “standard” rear axle (open) then you will a have a 10. 5" ring gear no matter what engine you have gas or diesel. If this is not right please tell me where you...
This was posted in RV. Net is their anyone that can answer this for him?
In the manual, it says that you have to grease the front driveshaft at every oil change interval. I have searched everywhere arond the part that needs greasing, but i havent found a grease nipple. I have no idea what part...
Troy you can order it unpolished with just the plain old aluminum finish, that’s what I ordered. All you need to do is use “C” instead of “P” at the end of the part number. The AEM Brute Force was an oiled filter then they swiched it to a Dry filter type.

link to AEM
I ordered the AEM Brute Froce system today after leaving my Dodge Dealer and talking with their mechanic. He told me not to use any filter that you need the add oil too as you will void your engine warranty. He claims that the oil is being sucked into the Turbo and causing them to grenade and...
Anyone runing the AEM Brute Froce #AME-21-8206D and if so how do you like it. I looked at the K&N but at $199. 95 vs. $229. 99 I'm thinking the AEM is the better deal. Any input would be appreciated as I’m going to order this Monday.
To clean out bolt holes
Hears a little trick for you, you can use a class 5 or higher bolt to clean out the treads by grinding 3 groves in the body of the bolt. Grind about ¼ of the diameter deep and about 1/8 wide taper the end about three treads back and run the bolt in the hole will light...
My CTD has developed chatter as I run down the road. I noticed it about 3 days ago and it gets louder as the truck warms up. All most sounds like a lifter chatter in a gasser. I have 35,834 on her and she’s going in Monday morning. Sound seems to be getting louder and coming from the left side...
Also a thru tap pushes the chips down thru the hole and a bottom tap pulls the chip out of the hole. So you do not want to use a thru tap in a blind hole as you will pack the hole with chips.

The Service Manger; John called me on Monday and said he ran into this on a 05 and it was the valve body so he ordered it. There were no codes stored so with the description of what was going on he said he was going to swap out the VB. I have to say that my Dealer Al Smith in Bowling Green, Ohio...
YES this is exactly when it happens. I told John the service manager that it almost feels like the throttle cable or peddle is sticking when it doesn’t shift. When you push down on the throttle do you feel almost like a clicking feeling? Mine goes in this Monday for a valve body replacement. Do...
I’m having a low speed howl 15/35 mph with it really loud at 25 mph. The problem is my Dealer has changed the fluid as directed by DC but it has not gone away. I only get it in cold weather any it goes away after it get up to temp. DC says they do not have “any drive train issues on the LWB 2WD...
