    All, Found this when I pulled the comp. inlet hose off today. It looks like one of the blades is cracked, but it is really hard to tell. Could be an impact from a 'foreign object' (i. e. scratch) as well. The 'crack' (if it is one) appears to stop near the outer edge of the blade, see...

    Many thanks for your replies so far. Lightman, I believe what you say may not be entirely right. I have official documentation from Bosch in Stuttgart, Germany, indicating that this pump is for 6BTA-A, 156. 0 kW, application "truck". The last three digits on the C series pumps is 856 instead...
