I went to repack the frount wheels on my 3500 two wheel drive and found that I need special sockets, for the brake and wheel nut.

Years ago we did not have any side to side movement in the hitch plate and we never bent any pins.
I think there is enough play so you don't have to worry about bending anything.

I had the same problem, I over filled the differential and the grease ran to the right side brake drum. I had to replace the seal and nut that holds every thing together. You need to grease the bearings with wheel bearing grease when you put together. I don't know where you will use the brass...
I have a early 98 12V 3500 and I have to fill the fuel tank very slow, it seams that the vent is blocked. has anyone had the same experiance and what did you do to correct it. :mad: :mad:
