Checked it tonight, it is not so snug after-all. I think it works ok since it is low profile and 6 point. With this said, if I had to do it over again, I think I would opt for the 28mm socket. To your other question, since I was unable to break it free with the 3/8" drive wrench...
Agree that is weird,I will double check the fit tonight.
What I will say, my filter cap was on very tight (1st change), it took a 1/2 half inch drive socket wrench and as much leverage as I could muster to get it to start turning. I sensed no problem with that socket at all.
Thank you Too Tall, my first oil change today. Went through the fender, with the genos garage tool, no problem at all. Key was placing the rags below the oil filter, to lower the oil filter down onto. No spills at all, the tool worked great taking out the old filter, and putting the new one...
