    97 fuel filters..

I won’t install anything other than what I first listed in my first post and I got my fleet guard on Amazon.

    97 fuel filters..

Have a part number? Geno's sells the FLEETGUARD FS19598, but nowhere does it say Stratapore model and a google search of "FS19598 Stratapore" brings up nothing.. Ive read the filters I first mentioned are better, because wix don't meet OE specifications.. Its to bad because napa is easy to...

    97 fuel filters..

Iv read I need either a Mopar 0488396 which translates to Donaldson P551310 or FLEETGUARD FS19598 But I cant find any of them locally.. I'm surprised none of my local car parts outfits carry fleetguard.. Where are you folks buying them? Thanks

    #1 Diesel vs blended

Buddy of mine said he filled up with #1 during the summer by mistake and the engine ran hot. What I'm now concerned about is the 10% bio diesel and the fact mine is a garage queen, but that's another topic..

    #1 Diesel vs blended

Hello folks.. I own a clean 97 12 valve garage queen that I fill up once a year. So I feel its important to use #1 diesel because I drive it once a month all year long after the roads are dry or have been cleared. But I seem to remember when the fuel pumps used to be labeled "#1 diesel"...

    Which eight LT tires?

Because I want AT's on the truck and if I get a flat I don't want a different tire on the spare.. Can I ask which AT's you used on your elk hunting trailer?

    Which eight LT tires?

Seriously, four spares for back road travels? Where do you mount them and where do you go? Ive never had a flat in my life, ever..

    Which eight LT tires?

Thanks everyone. I'm running third gen rims with old LTX 265/70/17s right now, but thinking I need to switch to 16" E350 rims part #29576 with 1/4" positive offset. That will move the tire out about a inch further, yet be "centered" enough to keep the trailer wheel bearings happy if I need...

    Which eight LT tires?

I'm sold on LT tires for trailers after learning new airsteams were being delivered with michelin tires.. I've already run some R250's on my first TH with good results. But reading that airstream is selling their trailers with LT tires on some has turned me into a believer.. But what I would...

17" stock rims and tires, on a trailer

So, a centered trailer rim would bring my existing 265/70/17 tire outward 45mm or 1 3/4" and a 235/85/16 which is 1" narrower, 1 1/4" outward? I'm running 265/70/17, 31.6" diameter now, but using this tire calculator, the 235/85/16's 31.7" diameter I'm considering are only .1" larger! Thanks...

17" stock rims and tires, on a trailer

Any idea how far a 235/85/16 mounted on a centered trailer rim would stick out past the truck fender?

17" stock rims and tires, on a trailer

So, most 16" 8 bolt trailer rims would fit on my truck? Because no one makes 17" trailer rims.. Trailer rims jump to 17 1/2 with flanged nuts.. I'll assume flanged nuts means the pilot hole must match the hub to keep the rim centered.. Or hub-centric. Ive never heard of "non hub...

17" stock rims and tires, on a trailer

I lucked out with the 4 3/4" hole sounds like. But not with finding a 17" trailer rim. I understand why the axle would have a 18" maximum, but why a minimum? I would think the closer the spring was to the spindle the stronger..

17" stock rims and tires, on a trailer

The pilot hole on the dodge is 4.75" Wow, it might be big enough.
