    Archived 2004 Ram 2500 4wdr broken control arm

    It broke in half as if it had been cut, can not really say as to why as it is a daily driver and only pulls a load occasionally. The hardest thing that I can recall hitting are the speed bumps that seem to sprout everywhere around here on our roads and I try to be gentle with them..

    Archived 2004 Ram 2500 4wdr broken control arm

    I am new to this group so please bear with me. I just discovered a lower control arm on my 2004 Ram 2500 has completely broken in 1/2. Is this as unusual as I think it is? Also, should I consider replacing both the upper and lower control arms? any help you can lend is appreciated.
