Previously I had a B-52G, 6495, as my avitar. The avitar I'm currently using is of a C-97, tail number 0-2795. She flew the Berlin corridor up until the mid-70's. I worked in consolidated aircraft maintenance and was saddened when the 97 airframe was retired from the service. Sharp eyes you have there...The C-97 was based on the B-29. I sure miss the the old bird and her two sisters, as well as the people and mission.
