I don't think my pellet insert has shut off in about 3 weeks. I switched to softwood pellets and there is considerably less ash in the pan.
I used Barefoot hardwood pellets for the first ton since I installed it. I asked the guy who I buy the pellets from what he uses in his insert. We both...
I call it the scope on a rope, I do a bunch of electrical work on vehicles.
I use power probes, meters, but sometimes you just need a good old fashioned test light with a bulb for a load unit.
I bought brand new bosch 505 injectors from injectors direct. I bought new connector tubes and a reman hp pump at the same time.
I think it was about 3900 all said and done.
then i did the upper valve cover gasket and an oil change too so add another 100
4k all done
That is off the overhead. I've never really hand calculated it ever. Also I know it's not from summer to winter fuel because I buy it 500 gals at a time and am still on the same load of fuel as before.
So My 05 3500 has just over 300k on it and was in dire need of injectors. Bought 6 new Bosch injectors, connector tubes, hp pump, FCA,from a very reputable company. Did a valve adjustment on the way out.
My fuel mileage dropped from 19.4 to 13.8.
Anyone else ever run across something like this...
The trucks of today are very reliant on grounds to do things. Most components use 5 volt references and the control side uses the ground instead of switching power on and off.
My own truck had a bad connection in the main battery cable from the right side battery to the left side battery.

Mine does the overflow sometimes before it lights. I shut it down every couple of weeks and clean it so I know it isn't an airflow problem. I let the pot get just over half full and open the door and hit it with a Mapp gas torch for about 10 seconds. ill see if it lights any quicker with the new...
So I bought a new house in june of this year. It has a fireplace so wifey says let's get a stove for it.
Ended up going pellet insert. found a deal on a Harman 52i. love the insert and it puts out a lot of heat.
The house is a ranch style house but it has a couple of additions on it. This makes...
They are both helical gear type diffs, the eaton may be built a bit stronger which would be the reason most people would upgrade.
I am also interested to see how this works for you, mine has 320k on it and i'm sure i'll be in there soon enough
I am sure that they are well qualified to redo your axle. You have had foreign matter in every bearing set so far.
Make sure the housing gets flushed and brushed out or it's gonna happen no matter what you put in it.
Just my 2 bits.
Ok guys, been around these trucks for a long time and I saw something I have never seen.
I had a 98 24v towed to my shop a few days ago because it had been sitting on a farm for years and didn't run.
So I push it in and start working on it and that's when I noticed it.
It's a 24 valve, has the...
