I have an 06 as well with the juice and haven't seen any issues with freezing up. Make sure the Edge pwr tap into the fuse box is in the aux 15amp and not hooked to your headlights. I have seen it before where someone has a ton of extra's hooked into the fuse box, so they will run the red power...
