My lock on the driver door will no longer operate with the remote or push button. The other doors lock/unlock with the second push of the remote as normal. The other doors also lock/unlock with the push button. Not a huge deal, but I bought a truck with power locks and the one used the most is...
I've been getting a similar idle lately.
I also mentioned FCA and Injectors to the dealer and got the same stare. I wonder, is that a taught response?
Regardless, they ended up blaming it on the Water Pump they were replacing at 50k. A week later I've seen no improvement. I'll just live...
I had Wrangler SA's on my '05 for about 10k miles. I'm in construction and spend a lot of time in the gravel. I had 2 different tires plugged on 3 separate ocasions, due to gravel. I can't afford to lose that kind of time for $250 in tire savings. I'm back to BFG's and love 'em.
I have an '07 with the remote/key combo... don't like it.
Can I buy an old remote (03-05) and program it to my truck?
I miss the days of leaving the truck running and having the remote to lock/unlock. Now I have to pack an extra key... or leave it unlocked.
I cleaned my AFE filter and it still happens pretty frequently. I just back out of it as it shifts into OD.
I wondered if it had to do with my cat and muffler... too much inhale & not enough exhale?
I installed the Bushwackers over this past weekend... took all of an hour. It takes longer to put the rubber gasket on the flare than installing the flare on the truck.
I can see the potential for dirt to get trapped between the flare and the body. I have ordered the 3M tape mentioned above...
I have aftermarket wheels and tires and need the added coverage of the flares. Otherwise my Black Rig will nver be clean again.
I am looking into Line-X'ing the rocker panels.
From what I understand there is a gasket between the flare and the body. Is this not true? Is it not protecting the paint? Would the problem be corrected by adding protective film to the fender?
(3M SCOTCHCAL - 2" WIDE (SOLD BY THE FOOT)-Dodge Cummins and Ford Power Stroke Diesel Truck...
I'm looking for a built transmission that can handle my smarty + injectors (to come later). Anyone had any luck in the central KY area? I've heard there is a guy in Shelbyville, KY that is top notch but have no info.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I agree that kids=mega... but that's why my wife bought her suv. I can fit my son's carseat in the back of my QC fine. My wife is due in July... I am sure boy #2 will fit as well. I hate trying to park a LWB Truck.
Thanks for the info... you have to love this site!
Turned out to be a larger plug near the turbo. Warranty took care of it.
Tech told me my radiator seems to have restricted flow and may need to be replaced... $600+ labor. I'll go elsewhere for a radiator.
