    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Shift problem once a day?

    I have a 96 2500 4x4 auto with 199,000 miles. It will not shift from 2nd to 3rd on it's first shift of the day without letting off and on the accelerator a couple of times ,once it shifts OD and TC lockup works fine. All shifts the rest of the day work great even if it sets for several hours ...

    Engine oil leaking.. but from where?

    Jeff, have you checked to see if your crankcase vent tube has fallen off,my truck only has a piece of tygon tube for a vent. There is a small amount of oil mist that comes out of this tube . If the tube has fallen off this oil would blow down on the left side of the engine.
