Yes 1/2 in. deep ,, can go all the way to metal but i like to leave 1/16 in. pad remaining...

Your correct,, they take a lot of adjusting to get beams in correct direction.. Mine work great,,bought on ebay,, kinda fragile, instal in 2 pieces, sig. lense last..

Not good with computer,, just machine a .500 groove across center of pad.. Can be roughly done with band saw and many cuts. Not length wise- cross wise..

For the front brake pads for more stopping power,, i machine a .500 groove across center of brake pad,,makes a huge diff. in stopping power,,you will loose a small amount of pad life but for stopping power can't be beat.. On the 02 -2500, i machine a .700 groove.. cured the frt. stopping issue...

I've tried all combinations except led conversion,, tried sport lights-all the so called improved vision bulbs,, so far the best is the 80-100 bulbs with the heavy duty wiring relaks..Stock head light lenses.. Best visibility yet.. My 2 cents..

I read a post several years ago they installed chevrolet 2500-3500 wheel cyls. on the rear of the Dodge to greatly improve apply press. Not sure of the year or part #..The wheel cyls. are larger bore.. Good luck.

Yes your on the right track except,remove the entire od. unit then replace hsg. , snap ring under plate held in with 2 screws, but you will have to remove the od. brake clutch assy. from frt. of od. unit.. Check to make sure u jts. are timed to each other.. Get a service manual.. Good luck.

Glad i bought an extra air dog elec. motor to carry as a spare, didn't know they went out of business.. The pump motor bolts on with 4-5 allen head bolts,easy to replace..:)
