Yes AK that is true. Just toggle the little button up or down on the fly to change the level of tune at will. I mostly run mine on towing but on the occasion I want to make some real smoke I bump it up to performance. I dont fool with the Extreme nor to I have the torque management disabled...
I have been running a triple dog for several months on my 2006 Ram 2500 CTD and so far have been really happy with it. Install was easy and I have not had any codes or other issues.
So finally I decided to try the outlook to give me some gauges and EGT etc. On the 2006 Dodge in particular...
I have used Lucas, Marvel and several others but since I dont ahve a good way to really measure the net benefit I am curious as to how people are judging which is best?
There are so many factors that could be impacted like MPG, lubricity, cat problems, engine or injector problems etc etc...
I saw some penzoil 80w-90 full synthetic on close out at the local walmart for about half price. I was thinking about picking some up even though I dont need it yet with 8k miles.
I would think any full synthetic gear oil of the right grade would hold up find in a axle application

Today I had changed my oil and oil filter on the 2006 and went ahead and changed the fuel filter too even though it was a bit early. I had one left over from a previous Genos kit so I slapped it in. I had just purchased a 1- 1/8" wrench so I could keep a filter ready in the truck if ever needed...
I have an ARE that I have had on two different 2500 trucks and love it. No paint fading at all the the fit and finish is great too. They even replaced my rear LED brake light under warranty after it was almost 3 years old !!

I actually got a quick reply from Bully dog and they said several people had said the same thing and they were considering it.
So maybe they will do a milder version of the low throttle boost

I just upgraded to the new 2. 3. 0 and did the low end power deal but not the password protested TQ management option.
It was rainy outside but I took it for a "spin" and that was about all I could do. SPIN. Even with light throttle it felt like I was hammering it wide open. At 40-45mph the...
It took me a while of pulling the truck back and forth to find it but it is there. When I did find it I also noted that there was a blue paint mark on the drive shaft to show the fitting location

Are you 100% sure the transmission is not stuck in some gear like 3rd or 4th? mine did that once and I found that I had blown the transmission fuse while installing a fuse box mounted accessory.

When I sold the 2004. 5 truck I pulled the Edge off and sold it on ebay as the wiring for the injectors was different for the 06 truck. At that time I didnt know if a conversion from Edge would be offered or not so I just sold it.
Then after getting the 06 truck the dealer later mentioned...
I jsut bought my triple dog yesterday and after the dealer installed it I came home and noted that I had 2. 2. 2 in and the webpage had 2. 2. 7. So I called Bully dog and got a very technically competent person on the phone and he said that it was a must that I upgrade because of some RECOVERY...
