It sure looks like a small block Chev fuel pump block-off plate would work just as well instead of that bulky stock unit. Has anyone tried this?

Got the oil leak issue worked out... ... simple fix... see other post regarding fuel pump mounting plate..... again... Rip did a great job! No hassles, easy to work with, VERY reasonably priced... I could go on and on about RIP..... As far as the truck... . we haven't had many dry days here...

I just had the stock fuel pump on my 2001. 5 4x4 replaced with a PE unit (consistent 20psi!). The new pump is mounted close to the tank. The old pump and mounting bracket has been removed, but there's a gasket remaining. The truck is now seeping a bit of oil, and I'm trying to determine where...
