    PS Forgot to tell you. Turn the key off and on quickly and it will run OK for a little bit. You can get up to speed .

    Had same problem with my 2001. Stilll doing it. Started at about 50000 miles. Replaced fuel filter and lift pump. 11 pounds fuel pressure before injector pump while blowing white smoke. Now have 147000 miles. Gave up.

    No codes. I did take it in to the dealer. They kept it all day. When I picked it up that evening, they said they never had time to look at it. I have to have it to work.

    Yes the fuel filter has been changed.

    Truck loses power between 50 and 60 mph. Power comes back if throttle released or if I turn key off and on quickly. Also will not go over 40 mph on cold start. After about 5 minutes engine runs fine. Installed new lift pump and new batteries. No help. Fuel pressure at test port by injector pump...
