seems like it would be really nice to have an extra hundred feet of, say, 3/8" or 1/2" synthetic cable as winch extension with eyes spliced in on both ends. it would sure be lighter than chain, and probably cheaper than grade 7 or 8 'recovery chain' anyway. anybody know how well this stuff...
