Has anyone heard of this? By rapidly turning the ignition switch to the on position then turning it off three times in succesion you will gain 20% H. P.
After this procedure is complete somewhere on the instument panel the word done will appear. I got this information second hand and tried it...
I wasn't impressed with the trackbar & DSS after I installed them either. It wasn't until I drove with my camper on, that a BIG difference was noticed.
I just had the rear brakes done on my truck, new pads,& drums. I now get a shudder under medium to hard braking. My uneducated guess is the ABS is pulsing. I'm taking it back to the shop, but first I would like to get some of your input. Thanks.
I installed an 03 trackbar & DSS about 3 months ago and initially I was not impressed. Last week I finally had my camper on while towing my boat and that is where the BIG difference came. If anyone is thinking about this mod I say go for it!
I have a leak from the seal on the transfer case tailshaft. My local transmission shop has replaced it three times, this last time with a "heavy duty" seal.
The leak starts up again the next day. Has anyone else had this problem and found a cure?
A friend of mine is having trouble removing the sensor from his 99. He got it to spin but it won't come out. He's concerned pieces will fall into the diff.
Thanks for any help!
Do you have the chrome steel wheels? My steel wheels were junk, bent and out of round. I would get a bad hop after hitting bumps or potholes at speeds between 30 & 40 mph. This went away after I installed a set of aftermarket alloy wheels. I don't know if this will help you but good luck.
