Price is too high in No. Calif. I go to dealer only auctions and looked up the last 4 months of sales for 2002 3500's. Most had automatics and are stock. They were selling for 18k to 25k with 55k to 79k miles. Look around.
Thamks to all for their input. Have never see a better group of people that will help and ask for nothing in return other than a thank you and some advice later on if they have a problem. Thanks again, Skip
What is the AAPS, where is it and what does it do? Limp mode on a diesel? Bypasses what sensors and I still don't know what all the initials mean? Yeah, I'm a beginner. Thanks to all who are submitting ideas. It is appreciated. Skip
Truck is bone stock, caps are off, sorry. where is a definition for all the initialed parts. Some I know others are total unknowns. Will do a ground. did you replace or make the wire to the comp box?
NEW FUEL FILTER AND LIFT PUMP LESS THAN 100 MILES. SINCE THIS IS A FIRST TRUCK, (DIESEL). I DIDN'T WANT TO CHANGE THE PUMP OUT OF THE GATE. JUST NEED MORE MONEY. THANKS FOR THE REPLY
CRUISING DOWN TH ROAD AT 50 OR MORE, THERE IS A BUMP IN THE PEDAL. THEN THE TRUCK SLOWES TO 30-35. PUT IT INTO NEUTRAL, REV IT A BIT AND IT MIGHT START RUNNING CORRECTLY. I HAVE REPLACED THE LIFT PUMP 2 TIMES, CHECK FOR AIR LEAKS, NEW FILTER AND LINE INTO THE TANK. SHOWS CODE OF 216. ANY THOUGHTS
