This hp and torque race is absolutely ridiculous! I have a 2003 Dodge Ram dually six speed manual with over 350000 on it and I would not come close to wanting one of those cp4 equipped ticking time bombs...it’s not all about keeping up with the Jones’s (I have the newest and best) its about...
03 Cummins 15w40 shell rotella T conventional oil year round!! Get a webasto diesel fuel fired coolant heater for the cooler temps and keep that 15w40 in that engine. 314000 kms and running clean and strong.
Have an 03 rwd dually six speed manual 341000 trouble free kms...best truck ever! Lots of power and wicked on fuel. Do not get an automatic It’s not worth it. That six speed manual is a cherry!!! As far as the truck...I have not had a single issue mentioned in this forum.
Have an 03 Cummins, have used shell rotella T 15w40 conventional oil since new in summer and winter and it’s never an issue. Have over 340000 trouble free kilometres!!!

And...and a v6 with timing chains!!! Not really reliable or dependable. That includes the 5.0 litre v8 Cummins in the titan with damn timing chains, Both are a throw away engine!
