Is Your Air Filter Box A Rodent Hotel???

Not a hotel but a restaurant and a restroom... Just yesterday I took the cover off the fuse box under the hood and found it loaded with pumpkin seed shells and some "pellets"...

    Trailer brake evaluation

If it is wired like a travel trailer, and it sounds like it is, the left front brake is the first one to get the wire. If you wire back to a junction box between the axles and then run an equal length of wire to each brake you'll notice a huge difference in your braking.

    Can I move my neighbor's trailer....safely?

Your truck can certainly handle it but be careful backing up on the blocks. If it is just a block that is a couple of inches off the ground that won't be a problem. The higher the blocks, the more you should lean toward jacking it up like mentioned above.

    Hensley Straight Arrow

Bill has a point here if you have parking or storage issues. A convergent link hitch makes you about 12" longer overall. With this type of design the length isn't a critical factor in towing stability because the effective pivot point is 50+" forward of the hitch ball coupler. In other words, if...

    Hensley Straight Arrow

Hi Grey Wolf, Yes, it is a great hitch. Performance wise, towing down the road, you're correct that it is hard to improve. It is hard to tell a difference because it there isn't a differences to note... ;) However, we have improved on some of the other issues with it. Jim is THE MAN...

    Hensley Straight Arrow

Yes, as Jack said, the Hitch Helper, which is a knock off of BAL's Tongue Twister, allows you to move the hitch horizontally 10". However, most people who buy them only use them a few times and then it becomes a piece of cake to hook-up. Again, as Jack said, it is a 5 minute hook-up when you...
