    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Scotty Air 2

The volant cold air intake looks like it installs like that, where you can install an additional hole in the cowl.

Pins & Connectors for wiring repairs

If you know a little bit about what your looking for, mouser.com has been my go to as of late for stuff I cannot source through the Freightliner dealer I work at. It is nice that this stuff is readily available now, junkyards used to be the only place to find connectors.

    Cummins B7.2

Next generation B series engine for on-highway trucks. possibly a glimpse of what's to come for Ram. Looks to be DOHC for sure. Real compression brake too!! https://www.cummins.com/engines/b72

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: 2025 Ram/Cummins: Sifting Through Part V

That would be such a sweet engine if they can just figure out how to make it pass emissions with out EGR.

IN THE PRESS: NEW RAM HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS

My 2018 F150 that has lived in salt its entire life respectfully disagrees. The rocker panels on this truck are immaculate. My last F150 and the Dodge I had previous to that had the rockers bubbling at 3 years and were flaking off in chunks at 6 years.

Caps Injector Pump on a 8.3 Freightliner.

Do you have an engine serial # or the last 6 of the truck Vin?

NAILED IT! 2025 RAM/CUMMINS REVEALED (Sifting Through - Part IV)

Manual transmissions are going away in almost everything, even in class 7-8 trucks, I would say the manual transmission take rate is below 25%, maybe even lower. At the Freightliner/Western Star dealer that I work at, we are having to push the Eaton endurant and Detroit DT12 automated...

    2025 Ram/Cummins: Sifting Through – Part III

The Cummins L9 and X12 are going away once the 2027 emissions rules go into effect, they will both be replaced by the X10 which is going to have an electric grid heater in place of the DOC to create heat for DPF regeneration. The grid heater will be powered by a dedicated 48 volt alternator, but...

    2025 Ram/Cummins: Sifting Through – Part II

Also, the nut on the EGR cold pipe clamp next to the oil filter is loose, not very promising :D

    2025 Ram/Cummins: Sifting Through – Part II

A few years ago, 2021 I think, Cummins signed an agreement with Daimler to supply medium duty engines post 2027 once the Detroit DD8 ends production. The oil filter, EGR setup, and intake manifold look very similar in design to the current DD8 engine, I wonder if some of that project has crossed...

    2014 rear suspension changes

The air suspension is shown on Ram's site now, looks like it's what people have been asking for for years. The 2500 will get a coil spring REAR suspension similar to the 1500, and the 3500 will retain the leaf spring setup with air springs working as helpers. The 2500/3500 air suspension will...

Need a little help with a 08 6.7 and DPF

Here is a pic of a DOC/DPF and an SCR catalyst on a FTL M2 with an ISB. They are a bit bigger than the dodge unit

    2013 oil filter change

Haven't posted here in a while, but in the market for another cummins ;) thought I would throw in my 2 cents Oil change interval for a Detroit Diesel DD13, DD15 or DD16 in a linehaul vocation is 50,000 miles, I f they are equipped with a Davco Fuel/water separator, they are going 200,000 miles...
