noticed my temp gauge after 10 yrs doesnt come up to 200[straight up] on my 2001 2500 ctd. could the thermastat have rusted through. i know my heater core leaks bad. was going to try n add some radiator sealant to it. any body have these probs on a older dodge.
kimber fullsize stainless with wilson combat 8rd mags. hollow points. love mine. ya expensive but for r/v/boat,ect. great,durable gun. jmho. cant beet a shotgun. .
i dont think the chevy wheel cylyders made a huge improvement. but for 20. 00 who cares... . jmho. not sure the 3rd gen rotors are that good idea either. 150. 00 for the caliper brkts and u need the 17" wheels... .
where woulg i go to save on the caliper brackets to do the front. is there a mailorder/online dodge dealer for parts?junkyard specializing in 3 gen tuck parts?like still to do this conversion.
have a 2001 2500 and wondering how a dss steering stabilizer would/will work whith the front frame mount hitch on?appears they both look like they bolt to the same area. need that front hitch for my edie 5th wheel boat rack. anybody delt or modified one of these to fit?
Brakes work the same. bigger rotors(3 gen) and rear disks would be I think the only logical way to get more stopping power. good parts only do so much.
Doing my brakes now. not upgrading to 3rd gen as the brackets are 150. 00 a pair. using high quality rotors. ambulance pads and putting chevy rear wheel cylinders in.
3/04/2000[2001 model] still running stong. 106k miles. fass fuel pump 5 years with 0 probs,1 vp44 at 105k,1 southbend clutch,probs=ac,s out,1 p/w switch,loose steering a little. great trk for 10 yrs in march. oh ya body is hammered. she has been through many projects.
