Is it possible to put a tone ring with sensor on the drive shaft yoke like all of the big trucks use to signal their speedo? They use a simple set up even on mechanical trucks.

5.9’s never came with a HX40. HX40’s are reserved for 8.3 Cummins. The 5.9’s only had the H1C, HX35, HY35, HE351. Other applications like farm tractors have a smaller turbo than HX35 with no wastegates for lower hp.

Another easy fix.... who needs 4 wheel drive? We live in Canada where it snows and freezes. Just remove the drive shaft. :D
