Well... ..... it turns out it was the lift pump and injection pump... .....
They told me I did have dirt and water in the tank too! Maybe I jumped the gun on bad talking the dealership.

Thanks Jim... ... ... . I'm in the Dallas Ft. Worth area..... hardly ever snows here. The smell isn't coming from the front or cab area, it's only around the rear of the truck, specifically the exhaust area. I've just never had a goat that smelled that bad. It will take your breath away...
Anyone have a clue on the exhaust smell? Could it be a Catalytic converter going bad?
I'm taking it to a diesel performance shop in the morning to have the injectors checked.
Oil was just changed but I'll check again. It's sounding more like a bad injector everday... .....
The Don Davis dealership in Arlington tells me that they can't/won't touch it unless I let them replace the lift pump, even though I told them what the pressure is reading.
