I figured it out... The yellow is the SiriusXM and the red was the AM/FM antenna. I think I might have lost the GPS but won't know until I drive it.
Since I use a better GPS on the dash when traveling, it's not an issue....
Need some info for the signature truck.
I just got back from a 2 week, 3000+ mile trip with no tunes. The Lance camper, with the rear cab mounted antenna, blocks any reception. Of course I should have fixed this years ago...
I've got an antenna and adapter to mount on the hood and I'm looking...
Exactly! That 1/8" is all it took to get the belt over the lip of the pulley.
My hands and arms look like ground beef, but it's in and working as it should.
The above codes (Barometric Pressure Low and Barometric Pressure High) are showing as Permanent on my OBD2 reader.
I screwed up this morning after changing the accessory belt and started the engine before hooking up the Air Intake Temp and MAF sensors. Check Engine light was lit. I reset the...
Dayco # 5081260 which the tech said should have been a 5081265 (unavailable locally)
The other belt that was too long I don't have the number.
This morning's Gates 25-081264 would not go on, that was this morning's first try. Then a Gates 25-081256 on the second try, fit's perfect.
I swear I...
Three days and still no love...
Go to Advance Auto and pick up a listed Dayco belt for my 2012 3500.
NO way it'll fit! At least a 1/2" short. Call Dayco customer service and finally get to a "Sales Engineer". Opps our catalogue is wrong, the belt listed is 1/2" too short. Fine, he gave me the...
Slowly but surly the feds are withholding highway funds for what ever reason they deem fit. My guess is inspections for registration will be next. That will catch a few of the delete guys.
Thank you! I looked up the recall and found the same info. I didn't think to search for Ram Lug nut recall... oops
Of course the dealer didn't do the owner's manual update.
Owner manual states 130 to 145 Ft Lbs of torque for the lug nuts. The recall on my truck said this was in error and was causing wheel stud stretch. On my truck one did shear off. Took it in for the recall and they replaced the sheared stud and inspected the remaining 31 studs (I assume). Problem...
I think I got what is called in the Service Writer world, an Up Sell. In layman terms, screwed.
I tried to call and text the service writer and he's not responding. Can't wait to pick up my truck, which will most likely be on Friday now.
BTW I had ignored the lug nut recall until one of the...
Truck is in for the lug nut recall and while it's there I'm having the oil and filter changed, Fuel filters changed and they suggested an "injector tune up" which they clean and check the injectors. The schedule calls for this at 30,000 miles, I have 38,000 on my 2012 3500 crew dually.
Is the...
That was just a quick search but it does give some details about center of gravity and weight limits. Along with the information from the camper manufacture AND diligent calculations of what you're going to put in the camper, you can make an educated guess on what works and what doesn't.
I...
