No, I have never tried backing down a hill in reverse, otherwise no problems with reverse. I have yet to reproduce the problem I had yesterday, just a little notchy going into third, since I had the truck, otherwise shifting normally. Hopefully it was just a one time quirk.

Thanks Richard The threaded bolt hole that is left by the missing ground strap bolt is about an inch or more deep, should this be blocked off by a bolt to prevent any leakage into or out of the intake manifold, or does the bolt hole not go all the way threw the intake manifold.

I am thinking of buying a 02 2500 HO CTD SLT 6sp 4x4 with 66K in the next couple of days from a dealer for $27,000 CAN Their asking 31 K and they just did a $2,500 front end work Any pros or cons with this particular truck? Or should I wait for a 3rd gen or earlier 2nd gen truck?
