I have a 94 and have a small leak at the coupling which goes to the condenser. I've noticed that the later models have a block which anchors the coupling from moving. I think that it's pretty low on freon now since it is not cooling very well and cycles quite a bit.

Look just behind the fuse box under the hood. You will see a couple of places where wires ground to the fender, see if they are loose or corroded. Tighten them anyway.
Looking at the schematics this was a point in common I found that could be a problem.

I took the blank out, drilled a quarter inch hole just left of center and installed a mini switch leaving the right side of the blank undrilled for a future function. The mini switch is about $5. 00.
I still haven't found a use for the lockup since my truck is stock, I don't have an exhaust...
I have a 1994 3500. I have owned it a little over a year and have noticed that
when using the brakes hard, like parking a trailer, that the pedal gets hard and
I loose vacuum, it's pretty scarry to say the least.
If I step on the pedal hard about 10 times the vacuum warning light comes on...
