Brake issue on 2004 dodge ram 2500

Something I found in my 2005 fsm, maybe it will help HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL DESCRIPTION - ELECTRONIC VARIABLE BRAKE PROPORTIONING Vehicles equipped with ABS use electronic variable brake proportioning (EVBP) to balance front-to-rear braking. The EVBP is used in place of a rear proportioning valve...

    Cruise Control Wiring Incorrect

I was always under the impression the cruise control signal came off one of the unit bearing sensors, maybe I'm mistaken. After I posted the above, I looked the FSM, and there is mentioned a speed comparison between the front and rear wheels as to maintaining the cruise engage command. Check...

    1 piece driveshaft?

05 3500 dually, 5.9 4dr, installed aluminum single from driveshaftspecialists out of Texas. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Constantly fixing center bearings sucks.

    SB Hydraulic Clutch Linkage

Is there, in your opinion, a justifiable reason to spen nearly double for the SB Hydraulics, compared to stock or say rock auto. I guess all I'm really wanting to know, is if the money spent is more for the name of the outfit selling it, or it truly has an over the top rugged design and build...

    SB Hydraulic Clutch Linkage

I recently installed a single disk SB clutch, all new components but the clutch linkage. I've already come to the conclusion that I need to replace this, but what I'm asking for help on, is the $325 price tag for the SB hydraulics really worth the extra expense over the standard replacement at...

Remove the front differential carrier for pinion bearings replacement

If you've never done a diff before, and you don't have a friend around for advice on the gear fitment, you might be money ahead taking it to a diff shop and having them install the new bearing and seal and crush washer, and setting the proper depth for the engagement. Maybe some of the guys on...

Looking to fit additional light switches 05 Ram

Perry, I have an 05, and it you look at the overhead console, to the back of it is a center "slot" like area that might make a great place for switches-----just an idea!

    03 nv5600 clutch squeak

My vote is for the pilot bearing, I lost mine on my gas truck, and it ate the end of the input shaft up to the point of replacement. The bearings are not the same type, but a dry bearing is a dry bearing.
