One question about the Aisin.....I've heard a lot of folks are having issues with the dead pedal. When does it come into play? 1/2 throttle? 3/4 throttle? Only when you're on-off-on the pedal? I can sort of understand why the torque management...
We had a 2001 Cummins 2500 with the auto trans that always felt like it wanted to push through the stop sign/light when coming to a stop, so I would always shift to neutral whenever I came up on one. That got to be a pain after a while. Does the Aisin do the same?
So the 'manual shift' buttons...
Thanks for the links. Completely agree on the T-case shifter. There's just something satisfying about feeling that 'clunk' when it moves into 4Hi or 4Low.
