    AC problem in highway

I'd agree too. I added a can of R134a last night so we'll see if that helps on Friday heading south. It was a little low, around 25psi so I took it up to 40-45psi when it was 90 outside. If that doesn't fix it I'll look into the clutch sensor when I get back. Thanks for all the help and...

    AC problem in highway

OK, I've read thru every AC tread I can search on here and can't find an answer. The AC works fine around town, blower works fine, recirc door works good but when I take a longer trip out on the interstate say 30 minutes or more it starts acting up. I run it in "MAX" (recirculate) mode and it...

    Best trailer tires and source?

Well looks like you can add another one ready to move up from 15" to 16" with real tires. Had one of my China Bombs explode on me last Friday night in North Atalnta. Not a lot of fun changing that one. One question though, did any of you upgrade your trailers suspension when you did this...

No Start Unless Block Heater Is Used???

Harvey, Did you ever find out what the cause was? I remembered mine got very hard to start unless it was plugged in for a while. Turned out to be a bad FCA which was much cheaper than injectors at least. Bill

    waterpump recomendation

Replaced mine under warranty around 90K at dealer and it only lasted 5-10k. Went with a NAPA pump myself after that for $45 and a lifetime warranty. So yeah, some OEM's last better than others, could have been a bad pump from the dealer who knows. I just didn't feel like trusting the dealer again.

Really like this 5th wheel--opinions please

I have to second what Eric says about the 19. 5 wheels. They made a major difference in the way my 2500 handled the 5th wheel (or how the 5th wheel handled my truck), much more stable in the curves. I know they don't add a single pound of towing capacity but do make it much safer which was one...

    New 19.5s

You'll love them even more if you tow! They made a huge difference when pulling my 5th wheel camper. Next I need new shocks to smooth out the ride a bit, still have the originals on there with over a 100k miles. I have noticed a slight vibration from 50-65mph since adding them so I may need to...

No more "Dodge" RAM just RAM

Ram Nameplate Will Become a Full Brand LONDON — Chrysler Group is likely to promote its Dodge Ram nameplate to a full brand, which will sell pickup trucks, vans and some SUVs as a marque in its own right, Inside Line has been told. Chrysler is also likely to withdraw the Dodge brand from...

    Lift Pump???

Could it be a sticking FCA (Fuel Control Actuator)? Mine would start the rough idle problems and like you I would change the fuel filter and it would go away for a short while only to return. They are only around $125 from the Cummins store or I noticed Geno's Garage now sells them for $103. I...

    Water Pump problems???

Well that's what's so odd. What is being blown out from the water pump is brown nasty looking stuff but when I open the radiator cap and check it's the nice pink color. It is most defiantly the water pump leaking. I can tell it's coming from where it bolts to the engine block and the spray...

    Water Pump problems???

I noticed the other day small orange rust spots on the concrete under my truck, at the time I didn't think much about it. Went camping this past weekend and pulled back to the campsite the next morning only to notice a small 2" puddle under my truck. At first I thought it was oil or trans fluid...
