Funny you should ask that question today, as I just got done taking the Edge off my truck....
....because I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow morning for service :) (I'd rather them not know I'm using it) It's easy enough to remove, like 10 minutes maybe. I didn't install the EGT...
Definitely can't vouch for the snow/ice thing. I'm in AZ. What I can say is that my buddies behind me on the trail that day all commented how well the rear axle worked on my truck, and of course...I didn't get stuck! :)
Yes, hence the words "off road" in my post :) It's mostly just a long boring dirt road with a few "obstacles" thrown in. Still a solid 2.5-3.0 rated trail.
I took my new 2014 up a 3.0 rated off road trail here in AZ. I was more than happy with the way my anti-spin rear axle worked. As soon as a tire broke free and started to spin, power was transferred to the other side, and the truck hooked up. It worked great.
5000 miles on my 2014. Just got my first oil change. Ive had it like 2 months.
No problems at all. I "might" have had the dead pedal thing once, but it hasn't happened since. I put the Edge Juice on it already. I'm still playing with the first 3 power levels to see if I can get MPG gains, but...
Ive got a 30" light bar for the front of my 2014 2500. It will be mounted in the bumper, between the tow hooks. I'm thinking that I would like to wire it in with the brights of the truck.
Whats the best way to go about that? Find the wiring harness, pull it apart, and tap into the proper...
When in regen, the post turbo EGTs are way high. Like 600-800, with very little load.
I'm pretty sure the post turbo EGTs are way higher than most think they are. I can easily hit 800 with hard acceleration. This is with just maybe 1000 pounds of cargo. That is stock setting on the Edge. On...
Trailer is 22' enclosed, with my 3800 pound rock crawler in it. Fully loaded I think it's somewhere just shy of 10K pounds. It's a rolling box.
Short trips to my favorite area just north of Phoenix I get a solid 12. It's pretty flat towing. My lowest MPG was 9.5, and that was towing further...

Sorry. 2014, 2500. Sounds like i have the 68. Thanks!
Just so I can say I contributed to this post...I have the 3:42 ratio. It pulls my 10K trailer great. I imagine with 3:73 or 4:10 it would be that much better. 4:10 seems like overkill, though, unless pulling a really heavy load.
