I have a 98 12 valve diesel with about 150000 miles on it. Can't say enough good things about the truck. Only complaint maybe would be the outside engine noise but hey this is a real diesel unlike the 96 chevy I had with a 6.5 turbo. Talk about junk! I was thinking of upgrading to a 2008 model with the 6.7 Cummings automatic 6 speed. What kind of fuel milage have they been getting and have their been any issues with the new drive train? My old 12 valve 4 wheel drive will get 20mpg highway milage empty.
