    Excessive play in steering????

    Noticed the other day that my steering wheel is moving a long ways before my wheels actually started turning, took a look at it today and it looks like the play is in my steering gearbox.     Anyone replaced there A/C clutch?

    Thanks for the responses, It is the brackets on my outer ring of the clutch have sheered off, I wish it was just a wire. I will now go and search for that old thread on this thanks again

    If you have where did you get it from I called the dodge dealer and was quoted 209+tax. Wow and I cant find anyone else that has it I tried the local stops Napa/Autozone they say they dont even list it. It is a '94. Any help will be appreciated thanks

    Just a quick question why should your truck smoke blue smoke during startup? You dont think that would be oil leaking past the valve guides. ? I always thought that Cold smoke was more of a white color. Just asking... .

    Transmission Problem

    Sounds like your clutch is not fully disengaging, but may I suggest to take it to the dealer immediatly before damaging your trans. And also til you could get it fixed I would put it in reverse before starting the truck
