Thanks nanpaul. I guess I could have gone to 8 gauge but I used 10 gauge instead. I was pretty sure that the 14 gauge run to the rear of the truck would be unable to handle it. I did install a circuit breaker in the circuit as I tied the wire directly onto the battery.

I talked to Linda at PullRite yesterday. The bedrail and bracket kit for the 3500 dualie 2WD is ready. I ordered one today. Cost is about twice that of a regular bedrail kit but there is no welding or drilling required for installation. Part number is 0828. Gary
