    Rear End Lube Question

Friend of mine has a 4. 5 2500 CTD with a 3. 73 rear Limited Slip (anti-spin) and he's getting ready to change trannie fluid and diff fluids. Question is he's going to put in Amsoil but wanted to know if he should stick with the 75W90 or go with 75W140. I've heard some people say that the 75W140...

    2006 RAM 3500 Pictures

I agree 100% that's why when I buy a vehicle from the dealer I tell them that they can either remove their stickers from the truck or pay me for advertising for them. They always seem to be taken back that I should make such a request but hey I'm the one paying the big bucks for the vehicle.

    05-vs-06 48re for exhaust brake

Found this on Jake Brake web site. The thing that seems interesting to me is that it says it will only work on 06's with 48re and 610 Cummins. Now while playing around on Dodge web site building a 05 3500 the Cummins is listed as 610. So does this mean that a exhaust brake would work on the 05...

    Saw an 06 2500 today

Haven't seen one in person yet, but did a search on autotrader and seen quite a few dealers that had them, but they were all DRW I want a 3500 SRW 4X4. Only 2 of the dealers had pics, but seen that 2 dealers by me have gotten some in so will have to head on down and have a look so I can decide...

    GVWR Difference SRW vs DRW

Was at the Dodge dealer today looking at 3500's, primarily Tire load ranges. The Michelin tires on the SRW 3500 were load range e with a max weight rating on 3195 for single wheel and 2980 for dual. Now what gets me is that if the SRW and DRW are the same axle and the change in the GVWR is tire...

    GVWR Difference SRW vs DRW

I agree with you there. What baffles me is the only difference I know of between the 3500 SRW and DRW is an extended axle in the rear and 2 extra tires. So is tire rating different G rated instead of E rated. I personally think Dodge would have a better market if they offered a larger cab which...

    GVWR Difference SRW vs DRW

Have been contemplating getting a 3500 now that Dodge is coming out with a true Crew Cab (Mega Cab). I've always wanted a Dodge because of the CTD but my need for interior space has prevented it. I currently own a '97 PSD Crew Cab 4X4 7. 3 and have had great luck with it. Don't really want to...
