    did disconnect the pos for about 5 min. welded on a 4" pipe i put in place of the muffler and had the welder ground on the end of the tailpipe.

    the only way red dye will cause poor mileage is if it is old as the other person said. i fill up at home out of the farm tank and get the same mileage as with the green fuel

    Did some welding on the truck and disconnected the neg. terminals. Went to leave about 20 min later and the gear indicator on the dash wont light up around R D 2 1 but will around P and N. It will light up around them when ignition is turned forward one notch to the acc. but not in the run...
