fuel filter replacement for severe duty filter on 2012
It wasn't my choice to use brass in the Compression fitting from the fuel line to the fuel hose, It was Mopar. The SDFK comes with the Brass fitting in the kit. It was already in place when I got the truck form the dealer, as the SDFK was a dealer installed option. I was just letting y'all know... -

I believe the Mopar 68083826AA is a proprietary filter with no aftermarket alternative at this time...so I changed the Mopar filter head part of the kit to a Fleetguard 3930335S . This head unit is plug and play with the Mopar wiring and accepts a standard Fleetguard FS19732 or equivalent fuel...
