2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Fluctuating fuel pressure on isspro ev2

I would imagine that the gauge is reading properly just instead of moving fluidly from say 17psi to 19psi it kind of jumps from one to the other. not real erratic like electrical interference. . maybe I will try to take a video. Im going to contact Isspro to find out if this gauge should show...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Where did the 12v power souce go?

A little update... I checked all blade fuses in both fuse boxes, and tried to pull codes with the key trick. . nothing wrong with anything obvious. I then re-hooked up the gauge using the 12v keyed accessory wire on the back of the cd player, everything works as it should as far as the gauge...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Air dogs first unhappy customer?

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Fluctuating fuel pressure on isspro ev2

ILIANBG- Thats a good thought, that could be possible that there may be a restriction at the draw straw... may be something to look at in the future if I see a steady decline in pressure. HHhuntitall- I didnt think about fluctuation of output voltage from the alternator affecting the AirDog. ...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Fluctuating fuel pressure on isspro ev2

Thanks for the reply! The Isspro ev2's are the electric version of their gauges, so it is a electric sending unit mounted into the 8an hole provided on the AirDog where the low pressure light normally would go. I wouldnt think a snubber would be neccesary in that location, plus Diesel Manor...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Fluctuating fuel pressure on isspro ev2

Hey guys, just a quick question about my new fuel pressure guage. I installed the sending unit on my AirDog 100 where the low pressure indicator usually goes. Everything seems fine but the needle on the ev2 guage fluctuates constantly between 15-19 psi cruising and between 13-16 psi at WOT. Is...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Thoughts on location of FP sending unit

Thanks for the input guys! I honestly couldnt see a problem with using the AirDog as the output for the guage just wanted some other opinions. Its a nice clean install in that location and like Bob said, gets you away from the fuel hammer, heat and vibration of the engine that seems to kill...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Thoughts on location of FP sending unit

I recently purchased a 01 cummins and Im loving it! Big difference from a toyota tacoma!:-laf My question is do any of you guys see a problem with using the port on the AirDog to run the sending unit for a fuel pressuse guage?
