    Daniel, thanks for the info, i'm wondering what type of trouble you had with the k&n filter in the pre turbo tube, i would like to avoid any troubles there?i will drain all fluids and overfill the GETRAG. tried to update my profile we will See if it works.

    well i went to see it sat. clean truck! for a 91. 5. all original, except banks exhaust and k&n filter, it has a utility body:D and all the records since new,has had engine oil changes and valve adjustments at normal intervals up to now 200,000 mi. many other maintenance items have been kept up...

    thanks for all the info!!, i guess i am trying too hard to find all the areas to look at. my list of things to check for, not sure if it is a 91. 5 yet: 1, intercooler 2,steering box/ frame /radiator mount 3, pinion bearing play 4,cowl cracks, floor water leaks 5, test drive for transmission...
