    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Egt's And Exhaust Size

so how much egt reduction do you think i'm getting with this 7. 5",,, lol... i mean, 100* reduction with 4" behind a muffler should mean that a mufflerless 7. 5" has got to be good for like 500 or 600 degrees right? :-laf

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 5k GSK kit from Columbus Diesel

i had another thought,,, wouldn't 4000 and higher be almost pointless unless you were sled pulling. at those numbers aren't you just legnthening the gear without big output,, the hp/tq curves have peaked and fallen by then haven't they?

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 5k GSK kit from Columbus Diesel

i believe it's because the stock cams are cast and they won't hold up to those numbers.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 5k GSK kit from Columbus Diesel

even the mid to high 3000's are pretty hard on a truck aren't they? maybe not detrimental, but alot harder on it right? or am i off?

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 5k GSK kit from Columbus Diesel

i second this,, how does it compare to a 4gsk? is 4 and higher safe without additional mods?
