I had the exact same issue about a year ago. I checked the crossover tubes and found a bad o ring. I know somebody said that doesn't seal the fuel but it was either a coincidence or the tube just needed to be reseated. But replacing the o rings defiantly fixed my identical issue.

are 24 valve ecm's interchangeable? (98. 5-02) meaning i can swap mine with my buddys 99? or do they need to be set up for your vin and/or reflashed?

Did the same thing not too long ago, like they said lower hose off and raise the back. Use an ELC like Fleetgaurd ES Complet and compensate for the water you used to flush in the block when mixing new coolant. Otherwise you guys pretty much said it all

Here is the problem im having. It either takes 5 sec of cranking to fire or starts right up and revs out completly the dies and no restart until i remove the engine fuse and put it back in. I replaced the vp, lp, crank sensor. Im thinking its an ecm issue. You guys heard of this???

sounds like you have the wrong boost sensor, try the old one again without the pigtail wire harness.

My 02 does the same thing only long cranking when its cold(morning) but after its been running it starts right up. Possibly the ecm or the pump itself.
