I just get the Wheel Stud Recall for my 2012 3500 - I thought the recall was for newer models?

How do I find out if my 2012 Ram 3500 ST clock spring is a 28 terminal - or - a 24 terminal so I know what to order before I remove the airbag and etc?

UPDATE- Cleared all codes and the only code to return right away was the radio. Pulled the radio fuse (have a used one on order - Ebay) and will see if the radio going out was the culprit or not? So far everything works normal.

UPDATE... The truck was going crazy this morning when I fired it up. I drove the 15 miles to the shop with the gauges and various dash warning lights coming on and off / as well as the gauges and dash lights / and wipers / and headlights. It was like a blinking and "dinging" Christmas tree. It...

Charged the batteries again - and the clock works again. Hopefully I make it to the shop and its either batteries or the alternator.

2nd UPDATE - I charged the batteries over night - and everything worked - (except the FOB took several times of turning it to "start" before the starter kicked in???) I started it a few times (cold motor = 36 degrees) and the heater grid kicked on every time - after a few starts the clock quit...

Batteries are brand new (2 months...) Probably the radio. Might spend $100.oo for an E-Bay used unit...??? New radios are like $400.oo

What is the average or common mileage for these to begin to fail?? - Especially if filters have been changed like clockwork regularly.

.If the rear wheels of the truck are off the ground - and you are rocking (rolling / turning?) the wheels back and forth - it is the "natural" play in the ring and pinion gears you are noticing. This has nothing to do with wheel bearings.

Mine is the Mopar 68083826AA. However the baldwin canisters "only" are the same price as the Mopar canister with the new heater assembly. What about the engine (front) fuel filter - are there any reputable cheaper aftermarket ones available?

I have bought 6 from Genos - but now I have 6 extra of the Mopar frame mounted fuel assembly's. It's only $39.00 but I really don't need more assembly's. Plus the motor located nano fuel filter is $77.00 without the canister - filter only... Ha, Ha, Ha... This is ignorant...
