I have run Stanadyne Performance with every tank, i use it mostly to help lubricate the fuel system and anti gel in the winter. I have a good friend that works for Cummins NW and says " You have to run something" to help lubricate the fuel system.

Yes, I have a companion already, it's only 6 years old and in good shape as I keep it covered when towing.

It does have the factory prep pk and on Monday we get the new B&W base for our companion.

3.73's our 2012 had 4.10's but with the new tow ratings we sill have a 24900lb tow rating. Almost 6K more than the old truck!

Great post, we just traded our 2012 for a 2016 and just one of the reasons was poor MPG. On the way home from the dealer which was a 600 mile drive we clocked 18.3 MPG which is a # we NEVER saw on our 2012. :)

I used our 05 with NV-5600 much like you are talking about and had great results with AMSOIL Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid and I overfilled it through the shifter with the boot removed as per Standard Transmission. Shifted great!
