Quick question about Grid Heater starts in cold weather.

I would also put the winter front on the truck, it allows it to warm up a little faster, and the truck will still get plenty air from below the bumper.

    Tire valve stems.

I put extensions on the inners, but you need to make sure and clock them 180* from the outers so that they will stick through an access hole.

    2017 RAM 3500 Hitch problem

New truck and you're even thinking of not making the dealer fix the problem? There must be weld spatter or something else in the tube, but no matter what, it is a manufacturing defect and a warranty issue.

    turbo Baffle Removal-recommended mod?

It is a silencer to help comply with EPA noise regulations.

    Regeneration time

On the other board, there is a discussion about wrapping the exhaust pipe and DPF with a high temp insulation and how that is helping with shortening regen frequencies.

    Heated Seats

Just heated grips on my new to me Ultra Limited, I see how those thinks could spoil a person!

    CEL and Codes

yeah, I figured the O2 sensors were in distress. But, like I said, no performance issues and at 72,XXX miles the only warranty would be the emissions, which these are considered.

    CEL and Codes

2011 3500 Laramie Longhorn dually, Check engine light is on, check for codes, got: P22B2, P2270, P241A, P22B5, and P2BAC. Cleared codes and CEL went out. Driving into work today and CEL is back, truck is NOT suffering any performance issue, but I am wondering about the codes and CEL. Truck...

    Putting on the grille coat?

Follow the owners manual, it is in there for a reason.
  10. S

1996 storage vs 2016 storage inside/on the truck - what have you done?

You can modify the lugs that hold the seatback to the back of the truck and gain access to more storage space.
  11. S

    Baffle...again

It's in there for noise compliance, not performance.
  12. S

    Upgrade Nav Maps

I figure to only update every three years, that way it's only $50 a year.
  13. S

    Baffle

From the factory, the truck has to meet certain noise standards, once in private hands, that is no longer the case, hence the removal of the baffle, and the aftermarket air intakes.

What Did You Do To Your 4th Generation Truck Today?

69,000 miles, and my rear brakes were shot! but, it wasn't due to heavy braking, it was due to the calipers seizing on the sliders, even heating with a torch wouldn't free them up. Expensive brake job, but now everything moves freely and might just get a little better fuel mileage out of it.

Anyone rotate there aluminum dualie wheels?

I rotate side to side, the tires are not directional, so it works out fine.

2013 Ram 2500 Larimie Longhorn Mirror lights

There is a DIY mod that you can do to add running lights to the mirrors.

Titan 55 Gallon tank install on 2016..

Moving the vent still will leave an air gap, just not as large of one. This wouldn't be a mod for a gas truck, just a diesel.
  18. S

    Locking diffs

Isn't a Detroit Locker available for the AAM rearend? You would not want to put them in both the front and rear axle, but just in the rear would be nice.
  19. S

Titan 55 Gallon tank install on 2016..

Yeah, you would have to drop the tank, use same vent line, just put a new fitting in the higher part of the tank. There is a thread on it either on this site or "the other site", if you know what I mean.
  20. S

Titan 55 Gallon tank install on 2016..

You can also move your tanks vent to a higher spot on the tank and gain 3 gallons, diesel doesn't expand as much as gasoline so you won't have an issue if you do this mod.
