Just thought I'd add something to this thread. My 2015 3500 seems to have a very accurate DEF gauge. Most have said it's not linear, but my gauge seems to be just that. It very slowly decreases or moves to empty over time...almost like my fuel gauge. I've refilled a few times in 5600 miles...

Glad everything worked out on this for you, Mr Brockman. Just curious, the rumble or vibration you felt, I assume it was at highways speeds? Notice it more when empty or when towing? Apologize if I missed that in thread.

You probably won't feel it because of all the torque management these boogers have. If you could really feel 900 lbs ft/torque, we'd be ripping axles from beneath our trucks, and the axles of anything attached behind our trucks! Still a lot of power tho!

Boy, I wouldn't dare put those filters on my truck, but that's me! I'd spend the extra cash and get a new one - I get my Mopar filters from Wal-Mart and have not noticed any rust. I'll sure watch for it now, however. No offense, but I agree with gsbrockman - the only place for those filters...

Brockman: towed any heavy loads with the new 4600 shocks installed? Curious what you think.

Another vote for the B&W 3600. I have one as well and love it. Very solid product.

Yeah, I have never seen a label of sorts. I believe the HD trucks some standard with limited slip. What are you going to fill it with? 75/90? How many miles did you have on the fluid?

Very nice! I've found it difficult to get my Aisin transmission temps over about 170 - kinda amazing. The Aisin is a workhorse. It usually runs about 168 degrees, regardless of what I'm doing - empty or towing. And 98 degrees outside temp is pretty hot!

If I manually shift, as you recommend, and the TCC has a small tear, will the issue become worse over time? How much time (or miles) do I have with the existing TC, I guess is what I'm asking (if there's even an issue with it - right now, I know, we are simply hypothesizing).

I meant it was free with the service work...free in a sense. I think my book calls for 15k, but I'd have to check. I've always done mine early, just to inspect the gears and get the gunk out.

Update on rear shocks for 3500 with OEM air: called Bilstein today - the North Carolina factory. Talked to knowledgeable sales guy (seemed pretty knowledgeable about the engineering aspect too) named Mike. He said about 6 months on something for the 3500 with OEM air (just the shock). Something...
