Is there a practical reason for this? Do I risk any damage to my truck with boost alarm set at 40?

My alert was set at 40, but was going off at 25psi on my boost gauge. I turned the alert off, and I have the alarm on my boost set at 40. Hope this is a safe setting.

Your 2500 CTD will handle most 5ers under 30' without difficulty. Hook to it and pull it a few miles before buying, if possible keeping in mind that it doesn't have all your stuff in it, yet. My Edge CS2 has a manifold pressure alert which goes off every time I go full throttle. I've read several articles, most not the "for dummies" versions. Would I damage my truck if I raised the alert level from its present 39? My boost guage is reading low 20s when I get the alert notification.

I have an edge evolution CS2.. It has a transmission temperature gauge that picks up from the pan. Do I need a transmission temperature sensor in the line that goes to the cooler, also? I have everything I need to do it, but I'm just not sure it's necessary.

No, it doesn't work. I watched a YouTube video on the Evo CS, and it showed "enable fast idle." I have the CS2, which I understand to a step up, but I don't find that in my menu. I'm disappointed that it I'll not enable it.

I don't understand why it's not enabled from the factory.

Does anybody here know if Edge Evolution CS2 will enable the fast idle. I thought it would, but I can't figure out how.

I got the tool, found the lube point, but I'm not sure I got any grease in there.

Wow! I don't have the tool I need to grease that. Why did they do it that way?

I have a sticker on the cross piece in front of the radiator that says to grease driveshaft at each oil change. I have not found a grease zerk anywhere on my driveshaft. Anybody have any insight on this?
